Relevant Communications, a public relations firm specializing in entertainment and fine art clients based in Boca Raton, Fla., is opening a Nashville office in September.
According to a release, Relevant works with clients ranging from artists and fine art galleries to musicians, including members of Lynyrd Skynrd and Def Leppard. The Nashville office will be led by Joey Amato, who relocated to Nashville in 2011 after nearly a decade in New York City, where we worked in public relations and publishing for Sony Music and Clear Channel Communications.
“I am so happy to be expanding the Relevant brand to Nashville,” Amato said in the release. “Since I relocated here, it was always my intention to expand our brand to Music City. The growth and energy that can be felt here is incomparable to anywhere else in the world.”
Excerpts from the release are below:
Currently, the firm works with a variety of high profile clients including legendary pop artist Peter Max, Hall of Fame songwriter Bernie Taupin, Grace Slick, Michael Cartellone of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen, rockstar artist Michael Godard, 12-year-old artist prodigy Autumn de Forest and up-and-coming musician Ashley Brinton. Relevant is also the industry-standard for publicity efforts for their Los Angeles-based celebrity sports Artists, in addition to being the agency of record for industry giants Chase Art Group for their North American Hats off to Dr. Seuss! Exhibition, Park West Galleries, Road Show Company, Wentworth Galleries and over 150 traveling exhibitions worldwide.
Allison Zucker-Perelman founded Relevant Communications in 1999 and decided to expand to Nashville based on the influx of entertainment industry clients the firm has received in the past 12 months.
“This is such an exciting time for Relevant Communications. Our commitment to providing superior client services has made us one of the most in-demand public relations firms in South Florida and the only one specializing in the entertainment industry,” she stated. “Nashville is the next logical step for us as many of our newest clients have been coming from the music industry and have strong ties to country music.”
Relevant is one of the nation’s public relations companies specializing in fine art and was instrumental in bringing both the Peter Max and Bernie Taupin exhibitions to Nashville’s Rymer Gallery, the latter which coincided with Elton John’s most recent appearance at Bridgestone Arena.
Also joining the Nashville office as Relevant’s Digital Media Manager will be Nashville native Jesse Walker, who will handle the firm’s social and digital media initiatives.
