The Art of a Championship: Jonatan Espinoza Unveils “Hoosier Victory” Mural Honoring Indiana Hoosiers’ Historic 2026 Title Run

Accomplished fine artist and muralist Jonatan Espinoza has unveiled a striking new mural in Bloomington, Indiana, commemorating the Indiana Hoosiers’ perfect season and victory in the 2026 College Football Playoff National Championship. Spanning over 50 feet wide and more than 20 feet tall, the mural is one of the largest in the city’s history. The Hoosiers, representing the Big Ten Conference, secured their place in history by defeating the ACC’s Miami Hurricanes and completing an undefeated season—earning the first national title in program history.

‘This extraordinary piece of public art celebrating our remarkable championship season warms the heart of everyone associated with IU Athletics. Located near the entrance to our beautiful campus, we are thrilled that native Hoosiers, alums, and Bloomingtonians will get to relive this indelible sports memory every time they take a stroll down Kirkwood. It’s phenomenal.’  Jeremy Gray – Senior Associate Athletic Director – Indiana University
