Time Warner Cable: Art Gallery Exhibits Star Wars Paintings

In case you haven’t had enough Star Wars in your life lately, here’s a different take on the phenomenon.

A south Austin gallery exhibit features original Star Wars-themed artwork. The intergalactic art is inspired by the box office-busting movie franchise. Prices of the art range from $150 to $6,000.

Show organizers say the exhibit has brought in people who’ve never been to an art gallery before.

“It’s approachable for everyone, people know the name, they can easily understand what they’re looking at and you don’t necessarily have that unapproachable art that some people are afraid or intimidated by,” said Mary Wood, ART on 5th Gallery.

The show runs through January 31 at the ART on 5th Gallery.
