JMG: The Latest Exhibit at the Houston Museum of Natural Science
Reprinted from JMG
The Houston Museum of Natural Science has been the host for many prominent exhibitions that range from the spiritual to the archeological to The Society of Animal Artists Exhibition, which is an artistic portrayal of the animals that share the planet with us. The Houston Museum of Natural Science is truly a great museum, and its latest exhibit showcases why.
The Natural Parks Photography Project Exhibition was created by famed photographer Mark Burns, who traveled to 59 of America’s national parks to photograph them in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service. The photos are featured in black and white with an ageless appeal. The exhibit had a prominent tenure at the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum, but is being featured at HMNS now through Sept. 28, 2016.
The National Park Service turns 100 on Aug. 25. Park, museum and photography lovers have plenty of time to check out the exhibit while it’s still on display.
